I can’t seem to find information on the best swim masks or goggles for kids, reviews, point/counter points, size information, what is better goggles or masks, etc. It’s just for casual use in the pool this summer, nothing else.
I have both. The goggles are theoretically fog-free, but they fog anyways. They leak, even when tightly strapped on, and it’s hard to see out of them anyways.
My dive mask never fogs, it feels much more comfortable, and it also keeps water out of my nose. Also, I can get corrective lenses for it that are much cheaper than prescription swim goggles.
The only drawback to dive masks is that it makes swimming too easy. That’s why I force myself to swim without anything, goggles, masks, or nose plugs, on occasion. But, if you’re going to ‘cheat’ by wearing something, why not use a dive mask?
I’m asking because I seldom see anybody at the pool with a dive mask, but almost everybody wears swim goggles.
I am varsity swimmer and I started in 8th grade hated going underwater. Now a sophomore with 1:00.97 in 100 fly, I wanna get certified to be a lifeguard. I like going underwater, but only with goggles. Every time my goggles fall of when I swim in a race I struggle (common though) but to be certified I need to dive for a brick in a 10ft depth pool. Any tips to swimming underwater without goggles?
I am picking up open water swimming (ocean and lake) and I am looking for a type of goggles which will allow the greatest visibilty. I am not looking for any answers which refer to a mask, or "Aquasphere" goggles. I’m looking at standard goggles.
I am going to clarify my statement. I am picking up open water swimming (ocean/lake) even though I swim in a pool. I own a pair of suitable goggles for my current pool swimming, but I was wondering if a larger lens would provide me with greater visibility, over a smaller lens. I am not looking at "Aquasphere" goggles or masks; rather, I am looking at standard goggles. The answers I have already received do not seem to answer my question as I first provided details.
I need something for the pool. Clear and fog free. It has to be very comfortable. Idon’t like the kind that cups each eyeball.
my dog likes to go swimming in my pool and go underwater. But she always opens her eyes and chlorine gets all in them. Does any one know of any goggles i could get for her?
I recently got a pool, and gear like goggles, so of course I use them, but they fog up very easily. Does any one know an easy fix for this, or at least a way to keep my goggles from fogging up extremely fast? Plz help!
Thanx!!!
