Solving red under-eye bags after wearing goggles?

When I go swimming with goggles, I end up with bright red lines around my eye sockets where they’ve been. While these go away after 10 mins, I’m also left with my (normally purple) bags under my eyes going bright red. And they stay that way for quite a while, which is embarrasing since I swim before work. Any ideas how to make them go back to normal faster ? (I have of course also tried loosening the goggles ;)

How do I keep my swim goggles from crushing the bridge of my nose?

A large bridge on my nose combined with my sunken eye sockets makes it VERY hard for me to find a standard goggle that won’t dig into my nose like crazy. The wider connectors don’t work because my eyes aren’t wide so much as my nose is big. I’m even thinking about trying to do a McGyver and build one myself. Any suggestions?
